Mission and objective
EMFL is responsible for the management of access, networking and coordination activities of high field facilities in Europe. The purpose of the Association is in particular fulfilled by (but without being limited to)-PROMOTING SCIENCE IN HIGH MAGNETIC FIELDS-BEING IDENTIFIED AS REPRESENTATIVE OF HIGH MAGNETIC FIELD FACILITIES IN EUROPE, MOST NOTABLY AT THE INTERNATIONAL LEVEL AND IN INTERNATIONAL BODIES.-STIMULATING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CORPORATE IDENTITY BETWEEN ITS MEMBERS.-OBTAINING FUNDING FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT AT EU AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL-REPRESENTING EMFL’S SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY INTERESTS AT NATIONAL, EUROPEAN AND GLOBAL LEVEL.-CONSTITUTING A FORUM WHERE STRATEGIC SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL PLANS OF THE MEMBERS ARE DISCUSSED AND WHERE POSSIBLE COMMON STRATEGIES ARE DEVELOPED.
